Gail Berman’s Jackal Group Taps Rory Koslow As SVP Film Development
Gail Berman’s production entity The Jackal Group, a co-venture with Fox Networks group, has hired Rory Koslow to the position of SVP Film Development. His appointment follows the recent news that Jackal Group has signed a first-look feature film deal with Fox 2000. As the company, which develops and produces premium scripted and unscripted programming for FNG’s channels, expands into feature film, Koslow will select and develop projects and report to chairman and CEO Gail Berman.
Previously, Koslow was SVP Production at Langley Park Pictures on the Warner Bros. lot where he oversaw such films as Gangster Squad, The Lucky One, Arthur as well as the London stage musical adaptation of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory directed by Sam Mendes, which was nominated for seven Olivier awards including best musical.
Koslow’s next film as producer is Ashby starring Mickey Rourke, Nat Wolff, Emma Roberts and Sarah Silverman. Before Langley Park he held stints at Warner Bros and Initial Entertainment Group and worked with Roger Corman.
