Bryan Stankus is the Creative Executive of Film at The Jackal Group. He is charged with overseeing the company’s various film projects, as well as working to strategically identify feature film projects to be produced by the studio.
Previously, Bryan was the Film Coordinator and Executive Assistant to Joe Earley, President of The Jackal Group, and to Rory Koslow, The Jackal Group’s EVP of Film Development. In addition to managing the offices of both executives, Bryan also evaluated book and screenplay submissions, critiquing quality of story, writing, marketability, profitability, and company fit. Prior to joining The Jackal Group, Bryan worked at WME | IMG, assisting a senior crossover agent with clients ranging from M. Night Shyamalan to the NFL. Prior to WME, he held internships at Paramount Pictures and Kevin McCormick’s Langley Park Pictures.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Bryan received his bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television/Film from the University of Texas at Austin. While there, he produced a number of MFA thesis films, as well as organized a weekly film series for UT Film Committee. Perhaps most impressively, his intramural basketball team reached the semi-finals his sophomore year of college.
